I inadvertently started collecting bomber jackets ever since I bought my black bomber jacket (as seen here) a few years ago. I was always aware of my ridiculous obsession with shoes, but my love for statement jackets and coats kind of crept up on me. Because when it comes to winter jackets, my approach is always fairly no-nonsense and straightforward – STAYING WARM. In winter, I put function over fashion because I really really really hate it when it’s cold outside.
But once the temperature rises, I’m glad to have a solid repertoire of coats and jackets. In my opinion, the right outerwear can round off an outfit. For other people, it’s jewellery, but I always „forget“ to put jewellery on in day-to-day life because it’s not that important to me (yep, I just said that). When it gets too hot to wear a jacket or a coat in the summertime, I’m actually upset I because I feel like I look unfinished. The coat I wore in my very first post is actually one of my favourites, and I get so stubborn about wearing it in hot weather that some people ask me in disbelief if I’m actually cold.
FYI – it’s summer sale time! When I went to Zara this week, it was just pure chaos. I managed to snag a few cool pieces in the shop and online and can’t wait to showcase them on here. And funnily enough, I found a really sickening bomber jacket (perfect for my collection) in a different store that I want to photograph soon.

Ich hab aus Versehen damit angefangen Bomberjacken zu sammeln, als ich vor ein paar Jahren meine schwarze Bomberjacke gekauft habe (siehe hier). Mir war schon klar, dass ich Schuhe ein bisschen zu sehr liebe, aber meine Vorliebe für Jacken und Mäntel hat sich langsam angeschlichen. Wenn ich mir eine Winterjacke ausgesucht habe, bin ich immer recht nüchtern und unkompliziert vorgegangen – Hauptsache mir ist WARM. Im Winter lege ich mehr Wert auf Zweck als auf Mode, weil ich die Kälte einfach abgrundtief hasse.
Aber sobald es wärmer wird, habe ich zum Glück eine wunderbare Auswahl an Jacken und Mänteln. Meiner Meinung nach kann die richtige Jacke einem Outfit das gewisse Etwas verleihen. Für andere ist das eher Schmuck, aber im Alltag „vergesse“ ich immer, Schmuck anzuziehen, weil Schmuck mir nicht so wichtig ist (ja, Ihr habt richtig gelesen). Ich finde es schade, wenn es im Sommer zu heiß wird, um eine Jacke oder einen Mantel zu tragen, weil ich dann denke, dass mein Look nicht ganz fertig ist. Der Mantel, den ich in meinem allerersten Post anhatte, ist einer meiner Lieblingsmäntel. Ich bin ganz stur und trage ihn auch wenn es heiß ist, so dass mich Leute wirklich fragen, ob mir ernsthaft kalt ist.
Übrigens – es ist Sommerschlussverkauf oder wie es jetzt auch immer heißt! Als ich diese Woche bei Zara war, war die Hölle los. Ich hab im Laden und online ein paar coole Teile gefunden und freue mich schon, die hier zu präsentieren. Lustigerweise habe ich ’nem anderen Laden ’ne richtig geile Bomberjacke gefunden (passend für meine Sammlung), die ich bald fotografieren möchte.
