When I saw this coat, I knew I had to have it. I love that it has a loose cut, yet still looks sharp. This coat joins my selection of clothes that make me feel like Olivia Pope. The top I’m wearing is a dress which I wore in a previous post. And you’ve probably seen these boots of mine in multiple posts!
One thing that is important for me is to be smart when spending money on fashion. I try to not be wasteful as I just feel wrong owning more clothes than I can actually wear (but somehow I don’t feel wrong for owning what some people might think is a ridiculous amount of shoes).
As I started this blog, I returned to buying pieces I love, rather than just buying things because ‚it’ll do just fine‘. In my experience, the clothes you love will be a part of your wardrobe much longer and are worth the money you spend on them. I own a black bomber jacket that I bought more than five years ago and it is still one of my favourite jackets to wear.
If I had a tenner for the number of times I bought something for the moths in my wardrobe to feast on, I would have enough money to go on a weekend trip.

Als ich diesen Mantel gesehen habe, wusste ich ganz genau, dass ich ihn haben wollte. Was ich an dem Mantel so schön finde, ist, dass er einen lockeren Schnitt hat und trotzdem stilvoll aussieht. Dieser Mantel ist nun Teil meiner Kollektion von Kleidungsstücken, mit denen ich mich wie Olivia Pope fühle. Das Oberteil ist tatsächlich ein Kleid, das ich in diesem Post schon mal anhatte.
Mir ist es wichtig, dass ich mein Geld klug benutze, wenn es um Mode geht. Ich versuche nicht verschwenderisch zu sein, da es sich einfach falsch anfühlt so viele Klamotten zu besitzen, dass man niemals die Zeit hat sie alle zu tragen (aber irgendwie habe ich kein Problem damit, so viele Schuhe zu besitzen, dass es schon fast lächerlich ist).
Mit diesem Blog habe ich wieder angefangen Kleidungsstücke zu kaufen die mich umhauen und mich nicht dazu bringen zu sagen „naja, passt schon“. Nach meiner Erfahrung, behält man die Klamotten die man lieb gewonnen hat viel länger im Kleiderschrank, sodass es sich auch wirklich lohnt. Vor mehr als fünf Jahren habe ich eine schwarze Bomberjacke gekauft, die ich heute noch sehr gerne trage.
Wenn ich für jedes Stück, das in meinem Kleiderschrank zu Mottenfutter geworden ist, 10 Euro kriegen würde, hätte ich genug Kohle für einen Wochenendausflug.
